Fletcher Building – Kerikeri, North Island

This is a great opportunity for a strong leader with a safety and quality bias to learn and grow a career in the timber industry at our Waipapa site. We are looking for an experienced production supervisor to lead our kiln, pallet plant and defilleting operations. The role is tasked with maximising production, while also ensuring that our people are safe, motivated, and fully trained. You will develop strategies to improve processing performance, safety, quality and employee development.
What you will bring:
Great communication and interpersonal skills
Enjoy collaborating with other teams and communicating at all levels of the business
Ideally Level 4 NZQA in Solid Wood Manufacturing
Completed a supervisory or leadership management course with at least 2 years supervisory experience
Ideally Enchem Level 3 Boiler Operator qualifications
At least four years' experience working in the timber industry or similar
Ideally experience with the operation of kilns
Process and quality improvement focus
