Hours of Work: 6am – 6pm, 4 days on and 4 days off

Salary: Up to $45 p/hr

About The Role

Our client is seeking a dedicated Powder Production - Process Specialist to support high-quality product delivery and drive efficiencies within the Powder operation. This hands-on role involves operating machinery and assisting the Shift Manager in implementing lean techniques to enhance Overall Equipment Efficiency (OEE).

Key Responsibilities

Ensure production processes meet quality and food safety standards.
Foster a culture of quality within the team.
Identify and minimize losses in processing areas.
Facilitate problem-solving sessions and coordinate cost-saving initiatives.
Support the development and training of team members.
Promote a strong health and safety culture.

About You:
Essential: Relevant experience in powder operation, high-level communication skills, and knowledge of quality systems.
Preferred: Engineering or Food Technology degree and supervisory experience.
Significant experience in dryer operating and/or evaporator operating, and be able to train others.
