This role works to develop and continuously improve the "lean" processes we use at Tait which keep our assembly lines working smoothly and efficiently with short lead times. This is vital to developing and manufacturing the high-tech products we do, in a complex and competitive industry.The Duties Of The Role Will IncludeCover the full life cycle of products from requirements gathering to analysis, design, development, and deployment of software to improve our assembly processes and automated control systems.Troubleshoot issues and help keep our factory running.Provide tools and information to assure the quality of our processes.Engage in problem solving, process enhancement and supporting a lean culture dedicated to continuous improvement.O Pukenga - About YouTo be successful in this role, you will have experience in the entire software life cycle and be able to translate user needs into effective applications using analysis, problem solving and effective communication. You will be able to apply 'big picture' thinking to complex systems, finding long term solutions to solve problems and bridge the gap between systems, tools and approaches.As Well AsThe ability to develop, maintain and improve applications within both .NET, VB framework and Asp.net.Experience in working with SQL and relational databases.Have a Software Engineering background.Experience with web development technologies, Microsoft Excel/VBA and other development tools is preferred.Be familiar with GitLab and Rest APIs.Nga painga - what's in it for you?We are an employer that is committed to making a difference for families and communities and supporting people to build rewarding careers.
