Process Engineer

One of New Zealand's larger energy storage companies is looking for a skilled Process Engineer to assist them in fine-tuning and improving their operational functions. Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role is effectively a 2IC position and will support the projects required to improve operations across several Major Hazard Facilities throughout NZ.
The core tasks are to develop new and improved terminal operational programmes of work and associated initiatives. This is achieved by gathering data and researching information on their operations, analysing this, and forming new initiatives and strategies.
Desired Attributes:

Hold a relevant tertiary qualification in Process Engineering (Chemical or Mechanical)
Strong communication skills are a prerequisite, both written and verbal
Excellent project coordination and organisational skills are essential
Able to build effective working relationships at all levels of an organisation
Strong understanding or experience in the operations of heavy plant or processes
