The Process and Compliance Specialist will drive process optimization and regulatory compliance (DWQAR & RC) excellence across Veolia New Zealand's water operations.
You'll ensure best practice outcomes, support our ecological transformation objectives, and work collaboratively with operational compliance champions across VNZ contracts.

Lead process optimization initiativesDrive regulatory compliance excellence, focusing on DWQAR & RCCollaborate with operational compliance championsImplement best practices in water and wastewater operationsSupport Veolia's ecological transformation goalsWhat you'll need to be successfulEngineering Degree (Process, Chemical, Environmental, or related field)Minimum (7+ and 12+) years experience; and at least 5 years working in related areas to water/wastewater treatment operationsExpertise in process optimization and compliance managementIn-depth knowledge of NZ drinking water standards and environmental regulationsExperience with SCADA systems and process controlStrong communication and collaboration skillsExcellent analytical and report writing abilitiesProven ability to manage multiple prioritiesExcellent communication, problem-solving and computer skillsCurrent driver's licensePersonal Attributes: Ability to assess and assimilate a wide range of information.Persistence and confidence in one's own judgement and capability.Ability to quickly adapt to changing circumstances, strong analytical skills and focus on quality of work.Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy.Results focused team player.High degree of personal integrity.A confident and effective communicator with the ability to build strong relationships and interact at all levels of organisations (including corporate and large public sector organisations).Our environmental solutions help customers preserve and renew our natural resources, creating a better future for our planet.
