Please state in your application your preferred number of working hours per week.Role PrioritiesWe need someone who has a deep faith, pastoral experience, and some knowledge of te reo and tikanga Maori. You must be confident in providing group and individual services, pastoral support, as well as leading and coordinating volunteers. Experience working with mental health issues would be advantageous.Significant Christian ministry and pastoral counselling experience are required for the role, as is an appropriate level of mental and physical agility. It is important that you can work constructively as part of the chaplaincy and site management team and that you can be adaptable and flexible in your role. You will preferably either have a formal theological qualification or have made significant progress towards one.Good IT aptitude is essential.
