What you'll do:
Lead and develop the overall direction of the Security Consulting practice
Drive secure outcomes across the organisation
Mentor a team of dedicated Security Consultants
Adopt new security skills and ways of working
Provide continuous feedback and mentorship to the team
Ensure high standards for the security compliance of IT systems and services
Use industry best practice and enterprise security standards to drive secure outcomes
Uplift security capability across the organisation
What you bring:
7+ years' experience in leading and overseeing security teams or consultants
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Comfortable presenting to large groups and engaging with senior level stakeholders
Strong understanding and practical knowledge of government security frameworks such as NIST, NZISM and PSR
Agile and Waterfall experience
Solid understanding of architectural principles, technology patterns, practices and processes
