You could be the principal we are seeking to lead our school, Te Miro School in the heart of rural Waikato, 15 minutes drive to Cambridge.Established in 1920, Te Miro School is a full primary school with a special rural look and feel. Students from Y1–8 experience education in the heart of a supportive rural community with an effective Board and active PTA. We're proud of our history, our education programme, extensive sporting and cultural resources and strong sense of belonging and whanau partnership.We are looking for a principal with an affinity for rural New Zealand. Someone who has outstanding leadership skills, up to date educational knowledge, energy, enthusiasm and sense of pace and innovation to lead our team, support continuing professional learning and deliver our strategic plan. Our new principal will use data and evidence to guide the educational plans for students, be focused on continuing to build upon the success of our current nature ed programme, our GreenGold Enviroschool status and our excellent academic results.We want a principal who is warm, approachable and will build strong connections with the Board, staff, tamariki and the community. You will be organised and have great aspirations for our school and be able to share these with the Board so we can work together to make it happen.
