We are seeking a Principal Structural Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role can be based in one of our many offices across New Zealand. You will be responsible for delivering projects with respect to structural design, quality, programme, leadership, mentoring, and budgets. This will include interfacing and coordinating outcomes from related disciplines such as geology, hydrogeology, geotechnical engineering, and contaminated land. Na tou rourou | What you'll bring Relevant BE (hons) or MEng qualification in Civil Engineering Chartered Civil Engineer (CPEng or overseas equivalent e.g. IStructE) Ideally, 15+ years' experience in structural design, with an emphasis on civil structures including bridges, tunnels, retaining structures and marine structures. Strong analytical and design skills Expert witness or insurance experience Emphasis on simple, robust solutions to complex issues Project management Client relationship management Experience in a consulting environment at a senior level Demonstrated ability to work in a multi-disciplinary team Proven ability to deliver a quality product on time Strong delegation skills with the ability to coach and support junior engineers.
