Engineering - Software (Information & Communication Technology)Full timeYou will be responsible for creating, developing, and maintaining our business applications, as well as integrating them with our internal systems and solutions from external partners. Collaborate with an agile, cross-functional team to continuously enhance our software applications and APIs, making sure they are reliable, scalable, secure, and support our business's success. Promote and lead our DevOps culture, emphasizing the shared responsibility for both development and operations.Your duties will include:Overseeing the creation, development, and deployment of software applications, APIs, and services, following architectural and development standards and best practices.Supporting the ongoing enhancement of our current portfolio of platforms, applications, services, and APIs.Contributing to the planning, definition, and execution of project schedules, focusing on delivering business value, including technical delivery and design considerations.Ensuring that security, performance, and data integrity standards are maintained across the team, staying informed about current security issues, application and API security guidelines, and addressing security issues before services are deployed.Monitoring and managing applications, environments, and services within the scope of our mobile applications and platforms to ensure they meet their service level agreements (SLAs).Addressing system incidents and issues to ensure they meet their SLAs.Providing on-call support for system-related issues 24/7 as part of your team's responsibilities.Your Experience consists of:4+ years' experience as a Senior Software Engineer, developing applications or services in Java and/or .Net.Expert API Management (Design, Publish, Gateway, Discovery, Security and Analytics).Working within an agile software development framework.Operating with modern DevOps practices.Operational Support in 24x7 technology service environment experience.Supporting web services in highly available environments.Working with cloud-based environments (such as Azure or AWS).Closing date for applications is 5.00 p.m., Sunday 1st of December 2024.
