Principal Research Services Librarian

As the Principal Research Services Librarian, you will join the HB Williams Memorial Library leadership group and provide operational support to your team and ensure access to content of local and other taonga. Your expertise will drive public programmes, projects, and innovative methods that enhance customer experiences.You will recognise the importance of the role as a Treaty partner and understand how that underpins Gisborne District Council's work.ResponsibilitiesLead, curate and create relevant exhibitions utilising library and other materials related to library and local histories, people or other subjects of interest to community.Ensure technical support, statistical analytics, and promote in-house local history databases.
