Are you an experienced policy professional with skills in planning and reporting? Do you have a passion for your local community and making a difference? If so, we want you to lead our dynamic and influential policy team! You should also have experience in planning and resource management, plan development, and implementation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Senior or Principal to step into their first leadership role.
Key Responsibilities:
Drive and manage the policy team, ensuring alignment with strategic goals.
Develop and implement effective Employment Relations policies and solutions.
Resource management plan development and implementation, both within the team, across the organisation and externally.
Oversee planning and reporting processes to ensure high-quality policy outcomes.
Mentor and develop team members, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment.
Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and deliver impactful policy initiatives.
Requirements:
Proven experience in a principal policy role looking to step up, or a leadership role.
RMA/Planning experience
Strong skills in planning, reporting, and project management.
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
