Ko ake mahi - What you'll do You will lead the comprehensive review of workforce legislation including through the legislative process. This role is an exemplar in the development and delivery of quality policy advice to improve health outcomes for New Zealanders within a complex and challenging policy space. In this role you will: Lead the preparation and drafting of policy documents, legislation, guidelines and ad hoc advice. Provide leadership for projects and areas working with others to ensure all work is well planned. Be responsible for the peer review of Policy Analyst and Senior Policy Analysts work. Ensure all work reflects our responsibilities to the priority of equity and meeting Treaty of Waitangi obligations. Ko pukenga - What you'll bring Tertiary qualification in health or a relevant field and / or equivalent experience. Demonstrated experience designing, developing and implementing analytical approaches. Political nuance, and understanding of the machinery of Government. Strong stakeholder engagement and interpersonal skills.
