An opportunity for an experienced, energetic, and knowledgeable planning specialist, the projects available from this opportunity offer a wide variety of work in the planning sector, from land use/subdivision and district plan/plan changes.
About the Role As a technical specialist you will become a pivotal member of the team. You will be key in providing professional and customer focused service, as well as providing accurate information and advice on the national legislation and local requirements.
Provide high quality written and verbal evidence and coordinate gathering of evidence.Prepare written assessments of resource consent applications.Work collaboratively alongside other professionals.About You You will have a minimum of 10 years experience in planning/resource management in New Zealand. Ideally, you will have knowledge of related planning practice, and sustainable environment issues would be most beneficial.
A bachelor's degree in Planning or equivalent degree.A Full Member, or ability to obtain full membership of the New Zealand Planning Institute.Team player that thrives in a collaborative environment.Strong project management skills.The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills for dealing with colleagues, clients, and other members of the community. Having a broad view and open minded to bring a great service to clients.
