Other (Consulting & Strategy) Local Government (Government & Defence) Bring your passion for working through complex challenges to deliver robust recommendations to elected members Enjoy connecting people to find solutions Contribute your perspective to prepare for the FY26 Community Local Board Work Programme Reporting to the Integration and Programming Manager, the Principal Integration Specialist (North/West) is a senior role in the Integration and Programming team within the Advisory Unit.
This role is responsible for: Leading on the development and coordination of complex advice to local boards in the North/West area Understanding the broad changes and challenges coming in FY26 (and beyond) and communicating that to key stakeholders who work with the local boards in the North/West Ensuring the Community FY26 Local Board Work Programme (LBWP) development process for North/West incorporates lessons learned from FY25 development, and prepares for Fairer Funding implementation In this senior role - providing peer leadership and guidance to the Integration Specialist (North/West) You'll bring a blend of experience in working with elected members or in a relationship management role, along with experience in the policy or advisory space.
As part of that experience, you'll be able to talk to how you develop and provide complex and integrated advice to senior decision-makers.
You'll have excellent written and oral communication skills, and be comfortable dealing with all levels, with the ability to build and maintain great relationships and partnerships.
