About The Role Seeking a Principal Civil/Water Engineer to join a growing Auckland team, driven by recent project wins and a strong workload.
This is a prime opportunity to advance your career with a leader in infrastructure.
You'll be part of an established, multi-disciplinary team with access to extensive technical resources.
Your role will involve applying your technical expertise and collaborating with experienced and emerging specialists to deliver sustainable, commercially viable engineering solutions for clients across New Zealand.
Key Responsibilities Serve as the Project Technical Lead on various projects, ensuring timely, quality delivery within budget.
Engage regularly with key clients, understand their needs, and influence project outcomes for successful results.
Lead and mentor your team, ensuring ongoing technical development.
Produce high-quality project outputs, manage scope changes, and ensure adequate resourcing and review of design work.
Plan, coordinate, and author reports for specific projects.
Prepare cost estimates, tender documents, and specifications for project design and construction.
About You Civil/Water Engineer with a solid track record in delivering stormwater, water, and/or wastewater projects.
Tertiary qualification in engineering and 10+ years of experience.
Great people skills with the ability to develop strong client relationships, managing projects, and overseeing technical delivery.
Strong communication skills are key, as is your ability to self-manage, prioritise workloads, and maintain strong, trusting relationships with clients and colleagues across the wider business.
