Teaching Principal Role This is a teaching principal role with two days release.
The role expectation in 2025 is 15.
The strategic plan of the kura has a strong focus on Te Ao Maori and Te Taiao.
The local iwi Te Roroa and Aranga school have a meaningful connection and effective relationship.
We have a rural supportive community.
The teaching team consists of 2 teachers, a teacher aide, caretaker, administrator, and a very committed BOT.
Aranga School has a 3-bedroom whare available to the successful applicant with subsidised rent.
Aranga School is a well-resourced kura with all buildings recently upgraded, a pool, a hall, two playgrounds, a large field, tennis courts, and a school van.
Manaakitanga (leading with moral purpose), pono (having self-belief), ako (being a learner), and awhinatanga (guiding and supporting) are qualities we are looking for at Aranga School.
