As a Principal Engineer for Network Services you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and operating the Automation Systems & platforms. Be an active part of and lead the Networks automation functions to deliver significant improvements in network capability & performance to help provide a continuous improvement in customer experience.
Ko to mahi – what you'll do Deliver accurate, cost-effective designs aligned to architectural, design and operational requirements considering all E2E impacts.
Lead and own automation strategies and initiatives.
Development of domain automation roadmaps (where required), input into architecture, network plans and capital budgets.
On time and budget delivery & implementation ensuring network integrity is maintained.
Implementation of Network change as per agreed processes.
Ensure all changes have passed the full set of acceptance tests and quality standards before live implementation.

Experience with Rundeck would be advantageous.
Experience in business processes understanding and improvement.
Lead and mentor team members/contractors and management in automation best practice.
Demonstrated experience with data analytics / modelling, automation tools & scripting.
Ensure effective knowledge sharing and Agile practices are in place and successful.
Understand ITIL methodologies.
