Ensure colleagues (where appropriate) possess and apply a thorough understanding of the client's business, risk management and insurance needs to ensure that our services and programs continue to meet with their needs and expectations. Act as a representative of the company at industry functions, meetings, or events. Adhere strictly to the Company's Quality practices and other systems and procedures. Possess and apply a thorough understanding of all major classes of insurance which the Company offers to its clients and keep abreast of all new technical and product developments. Possess and apply a thorough working knowledge of all aspects of relevant insurance legislation including the Marine Insurance Act and Insurance Law Reform Act, Fire & Emergency Services Levy, EQC Levy, Stamp Duties, GST, and other relevant legislation and keep abreast of all new developments. Personally comply with the Company's Errors and Omissions avoidance procedures and ensure that no Errors and Omissions occur. What you need to have: Achieve and maintain NZ Certificate in Financial Services (Level 5) in accordance with the Code of Professional Conduct for Financial Advice Services. Completion and application of areas of professional development in progressive studies such as Leadership, Management, Negotiation, Presentation, Broking, and Project Management as they are offered.
