The Principal Consultant also uses their business acumen to identify new opportunities and support business development activities including proposals and presentations.
They are considered the subject matter expert in their discipline and may provide guidance and mentoring to other more junior team members.Day-to-day you will:Deliver Azure cloud projects and provide the very best subject matter expertise and advice to our customersWork through customer specifications and develop solutions in line with defined requirements – design and/or implement technical solutionsAuthor documentation to the highest standard, including presentations and reportsManage client expectations, communicate effectively, and develop professional relationships with clients through all engagementsWork closely with team to ensure project delivery meets customer expectationsSupport the creation of reference architectures and new product offeringsBe involved in IP development and repeatabilityParticipate in technical pre-sales activities including proposal creation and peer reviewProvide direction and coaching to other team members when requiredBuild and promote strong, long-lasting relationships with a diverse range of customers, and identify and explore opportunities within existing and new customersSkills & QualificationsTertiary qualifications in Computer Science or related discipline and/or equivalent industry experience (Azure certified preferred)Consulting, implementation and migration knowledge and proven experience in the following:IaaS, PaaS & SaaS and related servicesCloud Security and related technologiesWindows/LinuxNetworkingAt least 5 years of experience in a Solutions Architect or similar consulting role, ideally with experience working for a global consulting firm or large technology company, delivering projects across multiple environmentsBroad experience and knowledge in hybrid and cloud technologiesAbility to communicate with structure, clarity, and precisionGreat advantages for great peopleFlexible hybrid working environment, a blend of office and WFH as it suits you and your teamFully subsidised Southern Cross Health Insurance (Wellbeing 2 plan) for yourself and available discounts for dependantsTools of the trade.
