The Role: Working alongside the civil business leader, your role as Principal/Team Lead will be to lead an established team of 7 Engineers and represent the company across local and national projects.
You'll provide technical insights and breakdowns to clients, contractors and councils, mentor and grow the existing team, maintain strong business relations, develop existing business and look to introduce new clients over time.
You'll act as leader to the engineering team, coordinating their work and providing support and guidance across their desks including reviewing and signing off work to maintain a high standard of designs, and keep work projects on track.
About you: As an ideal candidate, you'll have substantial experience in civil engineering and project management & Civil 3D designs for urban greenfield, brownfield and commercial land development projects.
You'll have a comprehensive understanding of the various regulations and standards governing civil land development, and competency in leading and mentoring a team of engineers across the multiple engineering stages including concept, construction and completion.
You'll have confidence being the face of the business, with strong English language skills and ability to articulate technical engineering insights to both experts and the public alike.
