Now it's your turn to serve the payment needs of organizations and people the world over.As a Principal Business Analyst in Australia, you will join a diverse, passionate team dedicated to making possibilities happen in the payments industry!The purpose of this Principal Business Analyst role is:Collect and define Business Requirements and Functional/Non-Functional Specifications enabling ACI to deliver competitive payment solutions.
Use a variety of standard and advanced techniques in the elicitation, analysis, documentation, and management of requirements.
Inventory requirements in a central repository, using key attributes to allow for prioritization and grouping.
Expand knowledge of the payments industry, product offerings, and applied technology.
Ensure quality and timeliness of requirements processes to stay at least one release ahead of the development lifecycle.A typical day at ACI for a Principal Business Analyst includes:Using a set of tasks and techniques to work as a liaison among and elicit the needs of stakeholders to define and validate solutions that meet business needs, goals, or objectives.Building and managing relationships with stakeholders based on an understanding of their influence and needs.Analysing and synthesising information elicited from stakeholders, defining and managing the plan to deliver requirements, and documenting and managing requirements throughout the project life-cycle.Providing input on feature/function to Product Management in developing the product roadmap.Providing input to the Product Marketing Manager on case studies and customer reference implementations.Continuously developing domain knowledge, depth, and breadth in the payments industry, ACI products, customer base, and applied technology.Improving processes and tools that result in improved quality and time-to-value.Mentoring less senior business analysts.Performing other duties as assigned.Understanding and adhering to all corporate policies, including but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics.Knowledge, Skills, and Experience needed to succeed in this role:Minimum a Degree in Computer Science or Business Administration or comparable work experience.Minimum 8 years in an industry-related role such as technical support, product management or product development with exposure to marketing, or comparable work experience.Significant experience in all aspects of business analysis.Very broad knowledge of the payments industry, customer base, and applied technology.Experience in the application of payments solutions in at least one vertical market within the payments industry.Ability to transform knowledge into requirements that provide competitive advantage.Knowledge and understanding of products, competitive offerings, and market drivers.Experience working on projects of high complexity that span more than one geography.Experience working with stakeholders of equivalent and more senior levels internally and externally to agree on functional and non-functional requirements.Technical experience that enables understanding and ability to explain advantages and disadvantages of technology used by ACI.Knowledge and skill sets required to act as the Subject Matter Expert in multiple ACI solutions.Can articulate market segment statistics for which ACI solutions are aimed, including size, market share, trends, and competitors.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Excellent negotiation and collaboration skills.Creation of quality, easy-to-understand papers and presentations.Work independently, using own judgment to complete tasks and help others.Experience developing and presenting customer and conference presentations.Benefits: In return for your expertise, we offer growth, opportunity, and a competitive compensation and benefits package in a casual work environment.Are you ready to help us transform the world of electronic payments?
