Salary midpoint of $140,938, actual salary dependent on your experienceKo ake mahi - What you'll doThe Principal Advisor is responsible for the provision of timely high-quality advice to support the Manager, Ethics, other Ethics staff, five Ministerial Ethics Committees, two Ministerial Strategy and Policy ethics committees and the sector in relation to health and disability research ethics and reproductive technology ethics.A Master's degree (or equivalent) in ethics, philosophy or a related fieldAdvanced knowledge of the machinery of Government, risk management, and key issues impacting on the New Zealand health and disability sectorExperience in managing high profile and sensitive issues, influencing people, leading work programmes, change management and facilitationExcellent advisory and communication skills with the ability to think critically, assimilate complex and often competing ideas logically, make sound decisions under pressure and write or articulate them clearly, concisely, and coherentlyThe ability to analyse complex technical information to provide advice to a wide range of audiencesMe pehea te tono mai - How to applyTo view the position description and apply, please follow the online process at our Careers Website.
