Ensuring they meet the outcomes contained within the programme documents and meet or exceeds student and industry expectations. The position requires the incumbent to: Assist the Head of Department and other departmental Managers in planning as required.Manage the day-to-day activities required to deliver on the strategic and operational objectives in respect of academic components and matters of programmes offered in the department.Assist in the planning of learner experiences, staff workload and resource allocation.Assist the departmental leadership team to assure academic quality, compliance and to develop capability.Commitment to support initiatives aimed at raising achievement of Maori and underserved communities.This position is primarily focused on operational management of the area in alignment with the Department goals.
