As a pricing and estimating coordinator at our Madras Street branch in Christchurch, you'll provide competitive prices and accurate estimates on building materials and products for our trade customers, ensuring our customers are fully prepared for construction while delivering exceptional service standards.
Responsibilities Guarantee timely and precise handling of quotations and pricing arrangements, including the submission of schedules for outsourced items to be priced.
Maintain an efficient ordering system.
Minimize quantity surveying expenses through collaboration and coordination with manufacturing and internal sales teams.
Collaborate with and cultivate relationships with local representatives from our preferred suppliers.
About You The ideal candidate will thrive in delivering unparalleled customer service and additionally, you will showcase the following characteristics: You excel in analytical thinking and feel confident working with numerical data.
Innate interpersonal skills, adept at fostering trust and building rapport with our valued trade customers.
Demonstrate exceptional efficiency and accuracy with meticulous attention to detail.
Technical proficiency is essential, particularly in MS Excel, with strong data entry skills being a requirement.
Having familiarity with the building industry is beneficial.
Collaborative individual committed to working within a team environment.
