We offer design, fabrication, machining, maintenance and industrial installation services to a local and national client base.Available PositionsPressure Vessel FabricatorYour work will involve building custom designed pressure vessels from carbon steel to AS1210 or other pressure vessel standards. An understanding of Quality Assurance systems for materials, fabrication and welding processes is required to produce products to recognised standards.Skills required:Skilled Fabricator / WelderAbility to fabricate from drawings to a high standard including fit-up and layout skillsEvidence of welding experience to AS3992 or similarAbility to pay attention to detail and multitask effectivelyAbility to communicate and document workComfortable working in confined spacesPlate rolling experienceFitter / WelderThis position is suited to an experienced fabricator who enjoys a diverse range of fabrication projects. You will work with our in-house designers, and fitter / turners to create products for a range of industries. Ideally you will be keen to assist with site installation and commissioning of these builds.Skills required:Skilled Fabricator / WelderAbility to fabricate from drawings to a high standard including fit-up and layout skillsAbility to pay attention to detail and multitask effectivelyAn excellent safety recordMechanical fitting experience would be an advantageDue to the range of work undertaken by this company the successful applicants for both roles will also enjoy the opportunity to work on other fabrication projects to enhance their skills and maintain their interest in the trade.RemunerationRemuneration is dependent on your skills and abilities and ranges from $32 to $40 per hour. Employment is full time with no less than 40 hours per week. Approved overtime may be required and is remunerated at a negotiated overtime rate.LocationPalmerston North has affordable housing, good schools, tertiary institutions ie University, UCOL, and teacher's college.
