The President & CEO will lead the Guttmacher Institute in fulfilling its mission to advance SRHR through rigorous research, strategic communications, and impactful advocacy. This individual will be responsible for Guttmacher's strategic direction and ensuring that it has the resources and visibility to advance its mission.
Key Responsibilities: Work closely with the Board and staff to create and implement a clear, compelling vision and strategic plan. Increase recognition of the Guttmacher Institute. Oversee the development and dissemination of high-quality research and analysis on SRHR issues. Ensure that the Institute's research informs policy and practice at national and international levels. Provide oversight for Guttmacher's development and fundraising efforts. Work closely with the Board of Directors to ensure effective governance and strategic guidance. Recruit, retain, and develop a high-performing team. Ensure the financial health and long-term sustainability of the Institute. Candidate Profile: Deep knowledge of SRHR issues and a commitment to advancing reproductive rights globally. A demonstrated passion for social, racial, and reproductive justice. Proven track record of successful fundraising and resource development. Exceptional interpersonal and communications skills. Experience working with and developing a diverse Board of Directors. Compensation & Benefits Salary is anticipated to range from $370,000 – $390,000, commensurate with experience.
