PRECISION FINISHING TECHNICIAN II, DEBURR As a Precision Finishing Technician II, Deburr for Rocket Lab you will be deburring/finishing additive manufactured parts used to build Rutherford, an innovative electric turbo-pump rocket engine powering Rocket Lab's Electron launch vehicle.
YOU'LL BRING THESE QUALIFICATIONS: 5+ years of experience in part finishing (machine, cast, forge, or print).
Attention to detail and time management skills.
High-level of manual dexterity skills and hand-eye coordination.
Able to maintain a clean, safe, and efficient work area.
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS: Willing to work 2nd shift (Monday - Thursday 2:30pm-1:00am).
Ability to travel and communicate outside of work hours.
Must be able to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed.
Repetitive assembly operations, grasping, standing, lifting, bending, pulling, pushing, stooping, stretching, and carrying are generally required to perform the functions of this position.
Must be able to walk or stand for extended periods – 8 hours minimum.
Must be able to lift up to 25lbs unassisted.
