With a high concentration of both standardbred and thoroughbred racehorses in the region, this presents an excellent opportunity for the right candidate to expand the role in their area of expertise.
You will be mostly working independently but have backup from your experienced colleagues and veterinary technicians. 85% of the work is ambulatory; however, there is also hospital treatment and surgical facilities.
Our veterinarians are an international collection and are all happy to have a chat about the practice and living/working in NZ. We pride ourselves on being part of the local community sponsoring horse events and projects within the village.
