Practice Nurse positions: Full-timeTaupo Health Centre is a busy General Practice and Urgent Care Clinic situated close to the heart of Taupo township. We care for the health needs of our approx. 12,500 enrolled patients, as well as for patients who are casual or visitors to our town. The practice provides after-hours support for the township on Saturdays on a shared roster basis.Taupo Health Centre is committed to excellence in service provision and to providing equitable health care in line with Te Tiriti o Waitangi.We are keen to talk with Registered Nurses who have a background in primary health care settings, acute hospital care settings or similar.We are looking for a confident, competent Registered Nurse with excellent communication skills, a positive attitude, a flexible enthusiastic approach, and above all else, a commitment to and focus on equitable health service delivery within a nursing framework.Minimum Requirements:Current New Zealand Nursing Council RegistrationUp-to-date CPR certificateRegistered Smear Taker, Nurse Prescriber, and Authorised Vaccinator certification (desirable)If you are interested in the role, however haven't worked in primary health care before, please do contact us as we are just as keen to have the right person for the role, as we are to requiring experience in the field.Please contact the Clinical Manager at: ****** for an Application Form and Job Description.
