This is a busy role supporting the local community with Primary Health care. This Medical Centre is looking for someone with a good understanding and experience as a Registered/Practice Nurse who is eager to grow professionally and has a strong cultural understanding to support the community positively.The Role:Assessment of the urgency and severity of presenting problems through history taking and examination before referral to the appropriate GP. Assessment can be via telephone or 1:1 consultation with patients, attending unbooked or urgent fit-ins.Follow-up of patient test results and communication with patients where appropriate, according to practice protocol.Undertaking treatment options and carrying out appropriate clinical interventions and procedures as directed by the doctors, advising and providing information.Prompt answering of nurse telephone.Set-up and assistance with minor surgery.You:Be part of the Nursing Council of New Zealand and legally entitled to work in New Zealand.Have NZ experience.Those with NZ experience need only apply - Thank you.
