Practice Nurse

The Opportunity:  
This position is full-time, Monday to Friday, and you will be delivering high-quality Primary Health Care through being a Registered Nurse in a Central Auckland location
This is a busy role supporting the local community with Primary Health care. This Medical Centre is looking for someone that has a good understanding and experience as a Registered/Practice Nurse and is still wanting to grow professionally, and that has a strong cultural understanding and acceptance who can support the community with a positive approach. 
The Role:

Assessment of the urgency and severity of presenting problems through history taking, and examination before referral to the appropriate GP. Assessment can be via telephone or 1:1 consultation with patient, attending unbooked or as an urgent fit-in.
Follow-up of patient test results and communication with patients where appropriate, according to practice protocol
Undertaking treatment options and carrying out appropriate clinical interventions and procedures as directed by the doctors, advising and providing information
Prompt answering of nurse telephone
Set-up and assistance with minor surgery
Be part of the Nursing Council of New Zealand + legally entitled to work in New Zealand
Have NZ experience
