As one of the 18 Papatipu Runanga recognised in the Te Runanga o Ngai Tahu Act 1998, Te Runanga o Moeraki is tasked with maintaining the mana of Kai Tahu in our takiwa.PositionWe are recruiting for a Practice Manager to support the implementation and management of the Te Ha o Maru General Practice.
In this role, you will oversee daily operations across all departments, ensuring alignment with the company's strategic goals.As the Practice Manager, you will report directly to the Kaihautu o Te Takere - Manager of Shared Services.
You will act as a liaison between the Kaihautu and staff, ensuring the company's goals are communicated and implemented.
Additionally, you will assist in maintaining up-to-date operational processes, policies, and information, challenge decisions to improve outcomes, foster a diverse and inclusive environment, and prioritise Health & Safety.You will be responsible for overseeing the smooth and efficient running of our medical practice.
As Practice Manager, you will play a vital role in ensuring our patients receive the highest quality of care while also supporting the professional development of our clinical staff.Required skills and qualifications:You must hold a full driver's license.Prior experience in Office Management, Practice Management, or Operational Management in a professional services environment.Great analytical skills with attention to detail and ability to problem solve.Strong IT skills that can be applied effectively to improve efficiencies and systems across the business.Experience in a Team lead role.Experience identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing these as agreed by the Senior Leadership Team.Proven expertise in converting strategic goals into actionable operational objectives and consistently achieving them.Comfortable working within a kaupapa Maori organization.Hours: 40 hours per weekEmployment is subject to police vetting and the requirements of the Children Act (2014).Your application will include the following questions:How many years' experience do you have as a practice manager?Which of the following statements best describes your right to work in New Zealand?Have you worked in a role which requires a sound understanding of OH&S/WHS?Do you have experience in administration?
