Sitting within the Te Toki business group, Infrastructure Delivery is responsible for building a world class transport network that delivers maximum value to New Zealand. Together we drive excellence in our construction programming efficiently and leverage innovative ways of working to optimize delivery. We oversee the build workforce to keep them safe while they work; manage relationships with our contractors, suppliers and local partners to effectively meet construction budgets, timeframes and ensure delivery; and we work regionally and across the sector to manage the impact of what we deliver to the community.
The purpose of this role is to support and contribute to the successful design and delivery of Transport Services projects by developing and maintaining a strong and effective team of high performing professional project management specialists. The Practice Lead Project Management supports the establishment and maintenance of a high-performance Project Management Practice, ensuring a 'Best practice' approach to Project Management across Transport Services. This role supports the creation and maintenance of the optimal culture for practice-based teams, provides a strong leadership commitment, and focuses on collaboration, communication, innovation, continuous improvement and the well-being and development of team members.
To be considered for this role, you must be able to demonstrate a depth of leadership capability and experience in a similar environment, as you'll be leading a substantial team of Project Managers that require coaching, development, training and mentoring across the project lifecycle.
