Job title: Practice Lead - Youth and Cultural Development (YCD)Salary range: $102,000 - $123,000 per year (depending on experience and qualifications)Position summary:YCD is seeking a skilled and experienced Practice Lead to join our team in a newly created role. The Practice Lead will be responsible for overseeing a team of kaimahi rangatahi and driving best practices in program delivery, training, and development. The successful candidate will play a key role in shaping the strategic direction of our organisation and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services for taiohi.Key responsibilities:Provide leadership and guidance to kaimahi rangatahi, ensuring high performance and professional growth.Develop and implement training programs, including induction training, to enhance the skills and competencies of kaimahi.Drive best practices in program design, delivery, and evaluation to maximize impact and outcomes for taiohi.Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify training needs and develop tailored training solutions.Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness through data analysis, feedback mechanisms, and quality assurance processes.Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, policies, and procedures to maintain program integrity and quality.Cultivate a positive and inclusive team culture that values diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of our mahi.Stay informed about current trends and best practices in youth work, training, and cultural development to inform program design and implementation.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree/Masters in a related field (must have)Minimum of 5 years of experience in youth work, program management, or related field.Proven experience in leadership, training and development, and program design.Strong knowledge of best practices in youth development, cultural competency, and training methodologies.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.Demonstrated commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of work.Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse range of stakeholders and build strong relationships.Experience in project management, data analysis, and evaluation.If you are committed to empowering kaimahi, cultural development, and if you are interested in seeing staff becoming the best youth worker they can be through effective leadership and training, we welcome you to join our team at YCD as our Practice Lead.
