You will be working with some of the best communications professionals in the business.This role requires an experienced PR / communications professional to join our Christchurch office. You will have worked for at least eight years in the strategic communications, public relations and / or journalism sectors. Preference will be given to candidates with communications experience gained working in an in-house role or for a PR / comms consultancy. Your superpowers will be your amazing writing skills, high attention to detail and an exemplary approach to client service. The role will require you to maintain a cool head in challenging situations, the ability to multi-task and to deliver strategic advice with confidence. Ideally you will also know how to construct corporate documents, presentations and basic websites; have both an interest in and understanding of social media and digital marketing, as well as current affairs and the changing news media environment.Be sure to let us know if you have expertise in graphic design, video production and / or have used Business / Ads Manager to manage social campaigns.Convergence offers a flexible working environment with a combination of working from home and in-office days.
