This position is designed for an individual with a strong background in public relations and communications, who is looking to grow their career in a flexible remote work environment.
You will play an essential role in enhancing our brand's visibility and ensuring the effective delivery of our communications both internally and externally.
### Responsibilities: Content Creation: Develop engaging written content for press releases, newsletters, blogs, and social media platforms that aligns with our brand messaging and marketing strategies.
Media Relations: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with media contacts to generate positive media coverage and inquire about features relevant to our business.
Event Coordination: Assist in planning and executing PR events and promotional activities, ensuring all logistical elements are in place for successful delivery.
Monitoring and Reporting: Track media coverage and analyze public perception of the company by providing regular reports and insights to senior management.
Social Media Management: Manage and oversee the company's social media presence across various platforms, ensuring alignment with our overall communication strategies.
Crisis Communication: Support the creation of crisis communication plans and assist in responding to media inquiries during critical situations.
Collaboration: Partner with cross-functional teams including marketing, sales, and product development to align PR initiatives with overall business goals and enhance brand visibility.
Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends and insights that can inform our public relations strategy and messaging.
Brand Advocacy: Act as a brand ambassador by promoting First American Financial within the community and ensuring a positive perception among stakeholders.
### Requirements: Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in public relations or communications, with a proven track record of executing successful PR campaigns.
Personality Traits: Dedicated: A strong commitment to quality work, continuous learning, and improvement.
Confident: The ability to represent the company's interests with poise and professionalism.
Soft Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to convey complex information in a clear, engaging manner.
Strong decision-making abilities, with a proactive approach to problem-solving and navigating challenges.
Technical Skills: Familiarity with PR tools such as Cision, Meltwater, or similar platforms.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and social media management tools.
