Job Description:
ConAgra Foods is seeking a dynamic and experienced PR Associate to join our team in Tauranga, Bay of Plenty, NZ. As a key member of the communications team, the PR Associate will be responsible for developing and implementing public relations strategies to enhance the company's reputation and promote our brand.
Responsibilities:1. Develop and execute PR campaigns to increase brand awareness and promote key messages.2. Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts to secure coverage for company news and initiatives.3. Write press releases, media pitches, and other PR materials to communicate company updates to the public.4. Monitor media coverage and analyze results to measure the success of PR campaigns.5. Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging across all communication channels.6. Assist in crisis communications by preparing statements and managing media inquiries.7. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in public relations.
Requirements:1. Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, or related field.2. Minimum of 4 years of experience in public relations or related roles.3. Strong communication and writing skills.4. Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines.5. Adaptable and resourceful with a strong attention to detail.6. Soft skills in innovation and persuasion.7. Experience with media relations and PR campaign management.8. Knowledge of digital media and social media marketing.
