As a Power Systems Technician you will be an integral part of our Invercargill or Balclutha technical team who undertake the testing and commissioning of our network equipment to maintain equipment reliability and safety. The work is varied and interesting, with opportunities for personal and industry growth.
In this role you will plan work, allocate resources and undertake planned servicing and testing of equipment and protection schemes.
This is a full-time position working 40 hours per week with the hourly rate ranging from $45-$50 per hour, subject to skills and experience.

We're looking for someone who:
Has a New Zealand qualification in Electricity Supply Power Technician (level 5) or equivalentIs a registered Technician with current practicing licenceHas a minimum 3 years' experience working in a high voltage environmentA proven ability to test control and protection systems relating to the industryIs competent with Microsoft Office SuiteHas strong numeracy and literacy skillsA class 1 drivers licenceIs willing to participate in an after-hours fault rosterWho is PowerNet?
