As their offices continue to grow, they are now looking for Power System Analysis (PSA) Engineers to join this fun and hard workingteam. Reporting directly to the Section Lead for Technical Specialists, this role will challenge you with responsibilities such as conducting power system analysis, modeling, and reporting on network and generation performance. You'll be able to work on cutting-edge projects across the energy sector and contribute to delivering innovative solutions to clients.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct detailed power system studies including load flow, short-circuit, harmonic, and transient stability analysis using tools like PowerFactory, PSCAD, and ETAP.
Collaborate with clients, preparing technical reports, and making informed recommendations for performance improvement.
Engage with distribution businesses (EDBs) to assist with network planning and asset management.
Stay updated on power systems technology and regulatory changes.
About You:
You are an experienced engineer with 5-15+ years of post-graduate experience in power system analysis in consultancies or utilities.
You have a solid understanding of power system modeling techniques and are proficient in industry-standard software.
Strong interpersonal skills are necessary, as you'll be liaising with clients and stakeholders regularly.
