As a member of the collaborative and supportive Power Systems Analysis (PSA) team, you'll love the varied work and will be able to fully utilise both your soft and technical skills, when working on national and international projects. Our exciting recent projects have included studies for major wind and solar farms, where we undertake work for both the developer and utility on the application and due diligence sides. We like to work as a trusted partner with our clients and are always looking at ways to innovate and challenge how things are done. What can you bring to the team? You will need a university degree – BE Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or equivalent, and will have: Industry experience, preferably in NZ or Australia in relation to connection studies and model validation for wind, solar, BESS and geothermal. The ability to build industry networks. Previous consultancy experience is preferred. Experience with PSA tools including PSS/E, PowerFactory, and PSCAD, as well as being ready to mentor and share knowledge with others. Knowledge and experience of scripting/programming in Python.
