About the Role Reporting to the Operations Manager – Finished Products, you will manage the afternoon shift team (4pm - 12am, Monday - Friday) within the Powdercoat Department.
Your Key Responsibilities Include: Supervising and optimising production processes to meet quality and safety standards.
Leading and motivating your team to achieve production targets and maintain high morale.
Implementing Lean Manufacturing practices and continuous improvement initiatives.
Ensuring equipment is well-maintained and resolving technical issues promptly.
Coordinating with planning and supply teams to meet delivery schedules.
About You You are a hands-on leader with proven experience in powder coating or surface finishing. You'll bring:
5 years in a supervisory or management role within a production environment.
Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to drive performance and motivate teams.
Technical expertise in powder coating processes and quality standards (ISO9001).
A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with excellent problem-solving abilities.
Strong communication and organisational skills to coordinate teams and schedules effectively.
