Te Puna Reo o Ritimana is a Maori medium total immersion early childhood centre, licensed for 30 tamariki between the ages of 2-6. We have been based at Richmond Road School in Grey Lynn since 1985 and operate under the Ministry of Education and are an affiliated member of Nga Puna Reo o Aotearoa. We are absolutely committed to the growth of te reo Maori. Our commitment is driven by the belief that Maori language, culture and identity are integral to the educational and life success of tamariki. Te Puna Reo o Ritimana is an innovative and welcoming centre - where you will enjoy working in an open, supportive, kaupapa Maori environment.
We are seeking someone who:
Is able to provide professional leadership to kaiako, kaimahi, on behalf of the Executive Committee
Has a sound knowledge of te reo Maori me nga tikanga
Is passionate about the revitalisation of te reo Maori me nga tikanga
Thrives in working in a kaupapa Maori environment
