\n Te Aheinga - The opportunity: We are seeking a Pou Ahurea to guide and lead our firm in meaningfully embedding Te Ao Maori principles and experiences at the fabric of our organisation. This role will support us in finding, attracting, growing, and retaining Maori & Pasifika talent at all levels, fostering respect, integration, and celebration of Te Ao Maori within our workplace.By joining us, you'll play a key role in creating a workplace where Maori & Pasifika talent can thrive culturally and professionally. You will be an integral part of our journey toward inclusivity, diversity, and cultural richness, making a meaningful impact on our clients, people, and communities. Ko ake mahi – What you'll do: Work alongside KPMG Executive and People and Inclusion teams to craft and implement a strategy aligning with KPMG's values to integrate Maori practises.Establish metrics for success in cultural competency and talent development, holding leaders accountable for diversity and inclusion goals.Promote initiatives and events educating employees on the significance and practises of Te Ao Maori and Pasifika cultures.Design Talent Development programs to enable Maori and Pasifika to thrive and grow within KPMG including providing leadership to KPMG's Kiwa network for Maori and Pasifika colleaguesBe involved in strategic recruitment initiatives and find opportunities to enhance our brand and attractiveness as an employer in Maori and Pasifika communities.Provide deep cultural expertise to support sector and client work, through relationship development, Maori engagement, strategy and planning, pursuit and delivery.
