A permanent opportunity has arisen for a highly skilled Postgraduate Applied Management Lecturer to join our Auckland Team in a full-time capacity. Reporting through to our Auckland Campus Director this position is a pivotal role within our organisation dedicated to key points of role.
Key Responsibilities for the role include: Regularly review and revise subject matter, teaching content and process relative to changing environments.Effectively facilitate the learning process through a wide variety of experiences and activities by encouraging students to participate in and accept responsibility for their own learning.Provide relevant practical learning experiences.Actively participate in Research activities as agreed and approved by the Research ManagerDeliver Research outputs as agreed and approved by the Auckland Campus Director.Maintain professional standards of practice and act as a role model.Deliver high-quality lectures, workshops, and training sessions Provide mentorship and guidance to students, fostering their growth and skill development. Develop and update curriculum to align with industry standards and emerging trends Our Ideal Candidate Recent experience in the business industry in New ZealandWide range of management experiences in New ZealandTeaching experience at tertiary level up to levels 8 and 9Postgraduate degree in management or a related field.Doctor of Philosophy or equivalent postgraduate qualification desirable.Experience in using educational technologies in learning and teaching practice. This may include but is not limited to, learning management systems (e.g. Moodle/Blackboard), web conferencing & online facilitation tools (e.g. Adobe Connect, MS Teams, Wimba) and content authoring tools.Teaching qualification.Well-developed oral, written, interpersonal and leadership skills.Proven ability to plan and meet deadlines.Good organisational and administrative skillsCommitment to promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.Applications close at 28th April 2024, however, we may conduct interviews prior to this date, and if we discover a qualified candidate before the closing date, we will conclude this advertisement ahead of schedule.
