Comprehensive teaching programmes, safe rosters, and a variety of clinical presentations are offered, along with world-class training and easy access to trainers and supervisors. We will provide you with protected teaching time under the supervision and mentorship of our passionate and knowledgeable senior clinicians.
Each of our hospitals provides a comprehensive teaching programme and other learning opportunities including Grand Rounds, Journal Clubs, and Bedside Teaching.

You will experience a huge variety of clinical presentations and pathologies, allowing you to decide how this influences your learning and future specialty focus or career pathway.
When completing your application, you will be asked to select when you are available to commence work. Rotation dates are as follows:

Quarter 1: 15th January 2024
Quarter 2: 15th April 2024
Quarter 3: 15th July 2024
Quarter 4: 14th October 2024

Flexible start dates may be available.
What you need to apply:

General Scope of Registration with Medical Council of New Zealand (MCNZ) if you are a NZ/AU Graduate.
At least 2 years post-graduate experience and hold General Registration if you are from the UK or any other comparable health system country.
Completed Internship (1 year) and General Registration if applying from Ireland.

This position is a Core Children's worker under the Vulnerable Children's Act in New Zealand and requires full safety checks completed before any new employee starts.
