Positions available for 2024 Training Year - Geriatrics RegistrarsAuckland, NZNew Zealand GovernmentThese positions are in the regional training rotation programme with Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand Auckland Region Districts comprising Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand Te Toka Tumai Auckland, Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand Waitemata and Te Whatu Ora Health New Zealand Counties Manukau Districts.Working as a Geriatrics Advanced Trainee, you will explore in-depth specialty training in the diagnosis and management of complex and/or multifactorial disorders that impact the functional and cognitive status of older persons.Medicine Registrar RunsGeriatric Medicine Registrar runs in the Auckland region are six months in length, following which you may rotate into a different run.There are two types of jobs available:Advanced Training Registrar Positions in Geriatrics:You will need to have passed the RACP Written Exam and be registered to sit the Clinical Exam for 2023.These positions will only be offered to those who have passed the Clinical Exam and completed basic physician training.Six month allocations for those interested in Geriatrics experience:Must be eligible to apply for a General Medicine Registrar position in Auckland.You will need to be eligible for registration with the Medical Council of New Zealand.
