We truly believe that when people achieve their financial goals, their whanau and communities flourish as a result.To help us with this, we are searching for a Portfolio Manager to join our team based in Invercargill on a fixed term basis.What you'll be busy with:Responsible for governance of the Bank's portfolio of transformational change and is a member of the Transformation leadership team.Responsible for the continuous improvement of the Bank's delivery model and ways of working - ensuring all standards are being followed and implemented.Owner of the Bank's project management tools, responsible for their day-to-day operation and the identification of new tools as they become available.Overseeing and reporting to relevant Programme Managers and Business Owners regarding budget performance.Managing the teams risk profile and providing regular reporting to governance forums including the executive and board steering groups.Taking responsibility for portfolio management of key strategic project/s, as identified through the yearly planning process, including the development and execution of initiatives.What you'll bring:Use/implementation of advanced project software.Understanding and development of the principles and frameworks of successful portfolio and programme management.Experience in portfolio/programme delivery and acceptance processes within a fast-paced business environment.Excellent oral and written communication skills as well as excellent presentation skills.Strong relationship building and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels within the business.Highly effective stakeholder management skills - able to establish, build and maintain effective working relationships.You will gel with our Values: Own It, Do What's Right, One Team, We're with you.This role is full time - 37.5 hours a week worked Monday to Friday.This role is fixed term for up to 24 months.About Us:We're on an exhilarating growth journey, and we need exceptional individuals who are ready to embrace our ambitious goals.
