Summer Season: September/October 2024 - April 2025.
Location: 58 Seaview Road, Paihia
Hours: Guaranteed a min of 30 hours per week on a rostered timetable, which could require some evening shifts.

As a Porter-Guest Service team member, your main goal is to make every guest feel truly welcomed and well taken care of. Your exceptional personal service will encourage them to explore and enjoy all the other wonderful facilities our hotel has to offer, knowing they can expect the same high standard of care throughout their stay.
By working together and following Scenic Hotel Group's Minimum Standards, you'll help ensure that every guest enjoys a comfortable and unforgettable experience with us.
Key Tasks & Responsibilities
The Porter role will involve:
Arrive on time for every shift as per the roster.
Maintain professional appearance, hygiene, and behavior in line with Scenic Hotel Group standards.
Showcase strong knowledge of hotel and local offerings to assist with upselling.
Provide exceptional guest service, addressing special requests promptly and involving management when needed.
Ensure a positive first impression for guests.
Coordinate with Front Office for guest arrivals/departures and handle luggage efficiently.
Assist in various hotel departments and complete tasks such as cleaning, vacuuming, and guest assistance.
Follow Porter checklists and collaborate with team members to maintain high service standards.
Skills, Experience & Qualifications Required
It would be an advantage for the successful candidate to have:
1 - 2 years in a similar role will be an advantage
Excellent verbal communication skills.
