This privately owned, long established and well-resourced company has a substantial rental equipment fleet and branch network throughout New Zealand.We are seeking a Hire Controller to join our Cromwell team. This role will report to the Regional Hire Manager and will be responsible for the day-to-day branch administration functions, including daily interactions with customers and internal staff members.The right person will primarily be a customer focused team player either with experience in heavy equipment, rental or related service sectors or someone is willing to learn the hire industry.DutiesDeal with on-line and telephone enquiries and orders from customers to ensure all orders are interpreted and delivered to the specifications required.Liaise with other branches, hire controllers, branch managers, drivers, and the mechanical team to ensure that equipment is available, maintained, and ready to be delivered to our customers.Process invoices, hires, off hires and transfers.Process manual paperwork when necessary.Skills RequiredComputer operation skills at a basic to intermediate level.Microsoft Office software skills at basic-intermediate level.Strong communication skills to liaise with customers, staff, and management.A current driver's license.A physical fitness level to carry out light manual handling duties.Being mentally fit to deal with the daily activities of the equipment hire industry.Ability to work autonomously or as part of a team.A good command of the English language.If you would like to join a highly motivated and enthusiastic team of people that strives to be number one and market leaders in their field, then we would like to hear from you.A rewarding remuneration package along with all necessary tools, including company vehicle and mobile phone will be provided to the successful candidate.
